Food and Gift Drive

The Gilpin County Food Pantry & Department of Human Services would like to extend the opportunity for you to help those in our community who could use an extra hand this Holiday season. We are sponsoring a food and gift drive.  You can help by:

  • Asking for a wish list of a child (18 & under this year) – wish lists will be available starting November 18th. Gifts are due in our office by December 20th (1:00 pm)
  • Donating stocking stuffers for kids 17 & under (also due December 20th)
  • Donating food (see list below). Thanksgiving food is due by 11/21 (3:30 pm). Winter Holidays food is due by 12/17 (3:30 pm).
  • Donating money – (for gifts for children and/or food for families)
  • Volunteering - We can use help on:
    • 11/25 (8:45am – 12:00 pm or 12:45pm – 4:00pm)
    • 11/26 (8:45am – 12:00 pm or 12:45pm – 4:00pm)
    • 12/19 (8:45am – 12:00 pm or 12:45pm – 4:00pm)
    • 12/20 (8:45am – 12:00 pm or 12:45pm – 4:00pm)
    • 12/20 (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm) helping organize gifts
