Gilpin County is looking for members to serve on the Noxious Weed Advisory Board.
Primary Roles of Board:
- Guiding policy for noxious weeds in Gilpin County
- Educating residents on noxious weed identification and eradication.
- Advising the County Weed Management Program
Requirements to Join the Board:
- Be a Gilpin resident.
- Have knowledge of noxious weeds.
- Attend 2 virtual/in-person meetings per year.
- Preference is given to those who own 40 acres or more, but no specific acreage is required to serve on the board.
- Members are volunteers and will not be paid.
