(GOLDEN, Colo.) — The Gateway to the Rockies Opioid Council (GROC)  has announced the launch of eight new innovative initiatives, as well as two renewed initiatives, aimed at addressing the pressing needs of individuals struggling with substance use disorders in the region. The council represents Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Jefferson counties. These initiatives are made possible through dedicated funding aimed at prevention, treatment, recovery and harm reduction efforts.

The projects collectively aim to address the opioid crisis and improve access to treatment and recovery services across the three counties.  They strongly emphasize sustainability and community engagement, reflecting GROC’s support to individuals and families afflicted in the community.
