Effective today, December 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the Gilpin County Sheriff has ordered Temporary Stage I Fire Restrictions due to current environmental conditions.
This decision is made in coordination with our Emergency Management partners as a precautionary measure to help reduce wildfire risk and protect residents, property, and natural resources throughout the county.
These temporary restrictions will remain in effect until further notice from the Sheriff’s Office.
