Treasurers Deed Live Public Auction Rules
11:00 a.m. on the first possible Thursday auction date unless continued.
Treasurer Deed Bidder Registration Form MUST BE COMPLETED and RETURNED no later than 10:45 a.m. on date of sale.

Upon the conclusion of the successful auction, the winning bidder hereinafter referred to as ‘Purchaser’ shall remit payment in Certified Funds immediately.
A Certificate of Option for Treasurers Deed shall be retained in the Gilpin County Clerk and Recorders office.
The Purchase of a Certificate of Option does not guarantee a Treasurer’s Deed for the property as there is the lawful holder and potentially other persons entitled to redeem at the end of the redemption period allowed by law.
The Certificate of Option does not entitle the Purchaser the right to secure, maintain or enter upon the property and such action could be construed as trespassing.
The Owner of Record shall be the Assessed Owners name until issuance of Treasurers Deed.
Upon the issuance and recording of Treasurers Deed the Assessors records will be updated to reflect the new Owner of Record
