  • People should get their omicron dose at least two months after their most recent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and can wait three months after a recent COVID-19 infection. Learn more about omicron vaccine doses at covid19.colorado.gov/vaccine.
  • The omicron variant (specifically its BA.4 and BA.5) are currently causing most cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. and are predicted to circulate this fall and winter. The bivalent COVID-19 vaccines, or updated boosters, include an mRNA component in common between the omicron variant BA.4 and BA.5 lineages to provide better protection against COVID-19 caused by the omicron variant
  • Pfizer (Bivalent) Booster is available for individuals 12 years of age and older
  • Moderna's (Bivalent) Booster is available for people 18 years of age and older.
  • The Novavax vaccine is also available. If you have not gotten your COVID vaccines for you and your family because you were not so sure about mRNA technology, this is a great alternative to get protection with a more “traditional” approach!
  • The age to receive Novavax has changed to 12 and older
